| TEAM TOURNAMENT RULES | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1 | All entries must be paid 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 2 | The weigh-in will start 15 minutes after the tournament stop time. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 3 | There will be "No Fishing" in the designated fishing area 3 hours before the tournament. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 4 | Anyone in a boat leaving the start area before the start signal will be disqualified. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 5 | Anyone fishing before the start signal will be disqualified. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 6 | No more than 2 people per boat and 1 needs to be at least 18 years old. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 7 | Only Largemouth, Smallmouth and Kentucky bass qualify for points. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 8 | Any fish determined to have been altered to change its length or weight will be disqualified. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 9 | Tournament officials may make random livewell checks prior to the start. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 10 | All boats must have aerated livewell or equivalent. Every effort must be taken to keep fish alive. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 11 | With the exception of a trophy fish, all live bass must be returned to the water immediately after the weigh-in. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 12 | You must wear lifejackets while running motors larger then 10 hp faster than no wake speeds. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 13 | Anyone in a boat running an oversized motor will be disqualified. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 14 | No live or natural bait except pork baits may be used. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 15 | No one can leave his or her boat with intent to fish during a tournament. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 16 | Fish must meet the size requirement of the waters
being fished; no fish under 10 inches may be kept. (If you have a question about the size limit on a body of water ask a tournament official before the tournament starts.) |

| 17 | Any one not back at the finish area at the end of the tournament will be disqualified. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 18 | Fish must be brought to the scales in a tournament-approved bag with enough water to maintain the health of the fish. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 19 | All fish will be measured by a tournament official or a member appointed by an official if needed. The same ruler will be used to measure all fish. Anyone may use the official ruler to check fish before they are turned over to an official. Fish will be measured with their mouth closed and tail lobes squeezed together. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 20 | No official shall measure or weigh their own or their partner's fish. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 21 | Any protest must be made before the scales are closed at the end of the weigh-in. The tournament officials will listen to and decide on the outcome of the protest. The official's decision will be final. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 22 | Any questions that arise at a tournament will be discussed and decided on by the tournament officials present at the time. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 23 | Each Team must ensre their boat is; properly insured, meets all Local, State, Federal and Coast Guard regulations. The H&H Bass Club is not responsible or liable for problems, damage or accidents that occur prior to, during or after any tournament. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| SAFETY | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| The tournament director may cancel tournaments due to unsafe conditions such as lightning, high winds, flooding, etc. Any tournament canceled will be discussed at the next meeting. The director may delay a start for safety reasons. If a tournament is delayed, the director and committee may or may not choose to extend the finish time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| COURTESY RULES | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1 | To expedite the weigh-in process, the tournament director should be given the courtesy to exit the water ahead of others so he can begin to set up for the weigh-in. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 2 | Do not cut in front of another boat closer then 50 yards unless they say it is all right. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 3 | Remember it is the responsibility of each individual to know and abide by all state regulations. If you have any questions concerning tournaments or tournament rules, please ask any of the tournament officials before you fish! | |||||||||||||||||||||
| TEAM TOURNAMENT FEE & PAYOUT | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1 | The Tournament fee is $20.00 per boat (no refunds). Each boat may have one or two anglers. Each boat is limited to 5 fish. Penalty for bringing too many fish is you lose your largest fish. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 2 | Total payout is determined by the number of anglers participating and each entry is divided this way; | |||||||||||||||||||||

| All remaining proceeds go to the general fund of the club | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3 | If a limited number of fish are caught, the remaining
places will be paid to the club's general fund - you must catch fish to qualify for a payout. |
